NEW MEMBERS

If you are a new member or a new bowler who has never played before, it can all be a bit daunting. We at The Griffin aim to help you settle in and enjoy your bowls. In order to accomplish this we allocate to you a playing member, affectionately called a Buddy. The job of this person is to help you with any questions or queries you may have. They show you the noticeboards and books in the club house and will help you to put your name down for matches. They will be in constant contact with you. They will also inform you of times and days for roll ups and coaching sessions. These are usually at club nights on a Wednesday evening where you can practice on the green with the aid of other members and coaches on hand.

All new members have a 30% reduction in fees for their 1st year.
Your fees are reduced pro-rata if you join later in the year.

Full membership - £105 per year, 30% discount for new members
Associate Bowling Membership - £55 per year (Short Mat bowling from October to March)
Associate Non-Bowling Membership - £10 per year (£5 if spouse/partner is a full playing member)

Students - £50 per year, if you are a student over 18 with a valid student ID card.  This will remain as long as you are a student.

Young People - Ages 9 - 18 membership is £5.00 per year
